Extended Care

Extended care is offered for students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade. The priorities of our program are ensuring that all students are safe and welcome. Based on ASB's campus in the Assumption Gym and the Performing Arts Center, we provide a wide variety of fun activities. Our program serves as an extension to the school day that allows our parents the flexibility of safe, affordable childcare, before and after the regular school hours. We aim to maintain open and on-going communications with the parents of all our students and are always interested in your suggestions and concerns.

Hours

Mornings: Mondays-Fridays 7:00-8:30AM

Afternoons: Mondays 2:00-5:45PM, Tuesdays-Fridays 3:00-5:45PM

Extended Care rates for the 2024-25 school year are listed below. Extended Care is a prepayment/preregistration program. Each family chooses the option that best suits their level of need, and this plan will be added to their family's tuition payment plan for the 2024-2025 school year.

1/4 time (1-6 hours a week) $2600/year or $260 a month when added to a 10 month tuition plan.
1/2 time (7-12 hours a week) $3880/year or $388 a month when added to a 10 month tuition plan.
Full Time (13-24 hours a week) $5800/year or $580 a month when added to a 10 month tuition plan.

Drop-in use of Extended Care is only available on an extremely limited basis. Drop-in Extended Care exists to accommodate families with minor emergencies, unavoidable conflicts or the very occasional need. Drop-in Extended Care is billed at $25 an hour.

Camp ASB 2024

Camp ASB is an extension of ASB Extended Care that is offered during the summer at ASB. We offer Camp ASB as a service for our families to navigate the summer months with no school. In summer 2024, Camp ASB will offer two sessions, with one in June for two weeks and one in August for four weeks.

Camp ASB June:

Week 1: June 17th-21st (closed on June 19th)

Week 2: June 24th-28th

Camp ASB August:

Week 1: July 29th-August 2nd

Week 2: August 5th-9th

Week 3: August 12th-16th

Week 4: August 19th-23rd

Camp ASB is designed as a service to our families and we offer a variety of options. Families may use Camp ASB as a drop-in, pay-as-you-go program, or they can choose a discounted prepayment option if they know their level of need will be more consistent.

Kinder Camp 2024

Kinder Camp is a program that allows our incoming Kindergarten students a sneak peek at their new school and incorporates a mixture of curriculum, play, and the opportunity to meet teachers in the Kindergarten classrooms. Led by PreK Director Sydney Holland, each of these components prepare the new Kindergarten students not just for Kindergarten, but Kindergarten at ASB School. With special appearances by the Kindergarten teachers, Mrs. Conklin, Mr. Pouley, Mr. Dougherty, and other staff, this camp is going to be a great opportunity for our incoming Kindergarten students.

This summer, ASB will host two sessions of Kinder Camp. Families may register for one session for $250, or both sessions at a discounted rate of $400. Kinder Camp will run from 9:00AM-1:00PM. Children are welcome to attend Camp ASB prior and following Kinder Camp for an additional hourly rate.
