Kindergarten-8th Grade Extended Care

 

Extended Care is offered for kindergarten through 8th grade students. The priorities of our program are ensuring that all students are safe and welcome. Based on ASB's campus in the ASB School Gym and the Performing Arts Center, we provide a wide variety of fun activities. Our program serves as an extension to the school day that allows our parents the flexibility of safe, affordable childcare before and after the regular school hours. We aim to maintain open and on-going communications with the parents.

Hours

Mornings: Mondays-Fridays 7:00-8:30AM

Afternoons: Mondays 2:00-5:45PM, Tuesdays-Fridays 3:00-5:45PM

 

Information

  • Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students are walked to Extended Care each afternoon by a homeroom teacher. For 3rd-8th grade students, it is the expectation that the students will follow their family's afterschool plan.  
  • A nut- and soy-free snack is provided by ASB. Students are not allowed to eat their own snack, with the exception of students who have dietary restrictions or allergies.
  • It is required that a parent, guardian, or designated adult signs students in and/or out of Extended Care. 
  • All ASB School rules apply at Extended Care. The Extended Care program is an extension of the school day and thus follows the exact same rules as ASB School. This includes following the school dress code.

Extended Care current rates are listed below. Extended Care is a prepayment/preregistration program. Each family chooses the option that best suits their level of need, and this plan will be added to their family's tuition payment plan for the school year.
 
  • 1/4 time (1-6 hours a week) $2990/year or $299 a month when added to a 10-month tuition plan.
  • 1/2 time (7-12 hours a week) $4462/year or $446 a month when added to a 10-month tuition plan.
  • Full Time (13-24 hours a week) $6670/year or $667 a month when added to a 10-month tuition plan.
 
Drop-in use of Extended Care is only available on an extremely limited basis. Drop-in Extended Care exists to accommodate families with minor emergencies, unavoidable conflicts or the very occasional need. Drop-in Extended Care is billed at $25 an hour.

PreK Extended Care

 

PreK runs for 8:30AM -12:30PM, Monday through Friday. We offer an optional PreK Extended Care from 12:30PM - 5:30PM in our PreK facilities. For pricing and contact information, please visit our PreK page.

Camp ASB

 
The Camp ASB 2026 Registration Form is now available. Use the link below to fill out the form. Fill out the form for each individual child you wish to attend Camp ASB. We will be offering seven weeks of Camp throughout June and July. Camp ASB will be closed on June 19th, July 3rd and July 6th. Camp ASB runs from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
 
Camp ASB Dates and Financial Details:
 
Hourly drop-in, $20 an hour
Full summer prepayment: $2100
Week 1 (6/15 - 6/18): $320
Week 2 (6/22 - 6/26): $400
Week 3 (6/29 - 7/2):   $320
Week 4 (7/7 - 7/10):   $320
Week 5 (7/13 - 7/17): $400
Week 6 (7/20 - 7/24): $400
Week 7 (7/27 - 7/31): $400
 
 
Charges for Camp ASB 2026 will be added to FACTS after confirmation with each family. If prepaying for weekly sessions: June prepayments will be debited on June 12th, 2026. July prepayments will be debited on July 2nd, 2026.

Kinder Camp

 

The Kindercamp registration form is now available. Use the link below to fill out the form. Fill out the form for each individual child you wish to attend Kindercamp.

If you wish to have your child(ren) partipcate in both Camp ASB and Kinder Camp, please select the desired Kinder Camp week(s) AND the last option "My child(ren) will particpate in both Camp ASB and Kinder Camp" for each week. 

If you choose to particpate in both Camp ASB and Kindercamp in any given week, ASB will not charge you the $225 Kindercamp registration fee. 

ASB will be offering five sessions of optional Kinder Camp for incoming kindergarten students to have a sneak peek at their new school, a chance to meet the Extended Care Staff, and enjoy a mixture of curriculum and play.

Kinder Camp will run June 23rd (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) through July 23rd (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) from 9:00AM -12:00PM and costs $225 per session. Charges for Kinder Camp will be added to each family's FACTS account during the month of July. 

In order to ensure all incoming students have the opportunity to attend Kinder Camp, each student is invited to attend a maxium of three sessions. Each session has a capacity of 30 registrants.
