Extended Care
Kindergarten-8th Grade Extended Care
Extended Care is offered for kindergarten through 8th grade students. The priorities of our program are ensuring that all students are safe and welcome. Based on ASB's campus in the ASB School Gym and the Performing Arts Center, we provide a wide variety of fun activities. Our program serves as an extension to the school day that allows our parents the flexibility of safe, affordable childcare before and after the regular school hours. We aim to maintain open and on-going communications with the parents.
Hours
Mornings: Mondays-Fridays 7:00-8:30AM
Afternoons: Mondays 2:00-5:45PM, Tuesdays-Fridays 3:00-5:45PM
Information
- Kindergarten, 1st, and 2nd grade students are walked to Extended Care each afternoon by a homeroom teacher. For 3rd-8th grade students, it is the expectation that the students will follow their family's afterschool plan.
- A nut- and soy-free snack is provided by ASB. Students are not allowed to eat their own snack, with the exception of students who have dietary restrictions or allergies.
- It is required that a parent, guardian, or designated adult signs students in and/or out of Extended Care.
