Substitute Teacher

Assumption-St. Bridget School is seeking applications to add certified teachers to our substitute teacher pool. We are a mid-size, private Catholic school with grades prekindergarten through 8th grade. Qualified candidates should complete an application through the Archdiocese of Seattle Catholic Schools Department (CSD).

Middle School Spanish Teacher

Assumption-St. Bridget School in northeast Seattle is seeking a Spanish teacher for 5th-8th grade students. Position is full-time with a salary range of $59K-$105K. Salary based on years experience and educational credits earned. This position includes full medical, dental, and vision benefits, as well as ten sick days and three PTO days per year.

The successful candidate possesses these characteristics:

Skilled and experienced in teaching Spanish to middle-school students
Holds or is eligible for Washington state teaching credential
Passion for working with children and commitment to Catholic education
Ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents
Strong classroom management skills
Collaborative skills; eagerness to work as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Flexibility and enthusiasm for learning

Assumption-St. Bridget School is a two-parish school with strong Catholic identity, excellent academic programming and a commitment to on-going improvement. PreK Teacher

Assumption-St. Bridget School is seeking a full-time, dynamic and innovative PreK Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. Qualifications include WA state certification, commitment to Catholic education, and successful teaching experience. We are looking for a teacher with effective communication skills, the ability to work effectively as part of a team, and a strong background in early childhood/elementary curriculum. The successful candidate creates a positive and productive homeroom and classroom environment, differentiates instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners, and uses assessments to guide instructional decisions. Assumption-St. Bridget School is a two-parish school with strong Catholic identity, excellent academic programs, and a commitment to on-going improvement. The school has two classes of each grade, with full time instructional aides in classrooms PreK-5th grade. Salary range for this position is $57K-$90K is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, degrees, and certifications.

Requirements:
- Holds WA State Teaching Certificate
- Practicing Catholic

Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum
- Teach all pre-kindergarten academic subjects with play-based focus
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration
- Utilize creative teaching methods to enhance student learning and engagement
- Mentor and guide students in their personal growth and development
- Assess student progress and communicate with families
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for students
- Manage classroom behavior effectively using proven behavior management techniques

Skills:
- Strong ability to educate and inspire young students
- Proficient in early childhood/elementary children
- Knowledge of different teaching styles to accommodate diverse learning needs
- Ability to write effectively for lesson plans, reports, and other documentation needs
- Effective behavior management techniques to create a positive classroom environment
