Never Forget

ASB had the unique opportunity to learn lessons from the Holocaust through the firsthand experiences of a survivor within our own community. Last spring, Genevieve Bournay, grandmother to one of our 7th grade students, shared her childhood experiences during WWII. As Polish Catholics, Genevieve and her family were persecuted by the Nazis and sent to Dachau Labor Camp. As we observe Holocaust Remembrance Day, please take the time to watch the videos of her presentation – Genevieve’s story is an inspiring reminder to “Never Forget”.
