ASSUMPTION ST. BRIDGET SCHOOL
STUDENT SUPPLY LIST
GRADE 8 – 2007-2008
Please save this list and have these supplies on
the first day of school.
Recognizing
that the same organizational system does not work for all students, we’d like
you to take some time to think about your own approach to organization. Which of these systems seems like the best
match for you? Whichever system you
choose, it needs to provide places for you to keep a supply of loose-leaf paper
as well as these items for each subject:
1.
Handouts
and other papers that need to be saved
2.
Completed
homework that has been graded and returned to you
3.
Homework
that needs to be turned in
Option 1:
A 3-ring binder (or Trapper-Keeper) with
dividers for each subject
Option 2:
An accordion file (File-o-Flex) with tabs
for each subject
Option 3:
Separate folders (with pockets) for each
subject
Decide
which system will work best for you, and purchase only the materials that you
will need for that system. If you have
another system that doesn’t fit one of these options, feel free to use it, as
long as it meets the needs listed above.
Whichever
system you choose, you will also need these materials. Label all supplies with your name. Replace supplies as needed throughout the
year.
