LRS Student Needs

 

Your child will be setting up his/her LRS display on Friday, April 23rd.  The doors to the gym will be open at 8:00 A.M. so that your child can be set up by 8:30 A.M.  There will be maps to guide where your child is located at each entrance.  When your child is set up, he/she should come to the regular line-up area, as we will begin our day in the classroom at 8:30 (as usual). 

Family members are invited to visit the displays any time during the day except during lunch/recess (11:25 – 12:30).  This is a time for the students to take a much-needed break from sharing.  Family and friends may also come from 6 – 7 P.M. Friday evening.  Your child is expected to come back during this evening sharing time.  At the end of this time, your child will take home his/her project. 

Each student will be provided with a table space of approximately 30” X 48”.  In the space below, please give a brief description of the items your child will be bringing for his/her display (so that we may plan where we should place each student in the gym).

Clean Up Note:

            When we are finished sharing Friday night, we need to take down all the tables, sweep the gym floor, and make sure the gym is completely clean and ready for adult volleyball league games later that night.  We ask that everyone help with this task so that we can finish in time for the games.
