LRS Four Topic Categories
While studying for your LRS, you will need to break your topic into four different categories so that you can focus your research in these four different areas. For example, if you were studying hunting, you might want to focus your study on these four categories: hunting safety, hunting weapons, hunting methods, and types of animals hunted. Breaking your topic up into these categories will help you to keep your information organized. When you find facts about one of your categories, you will keep it with all the other facts about that category in your LRS folder. (We will be making these folders in class.)
Now that you have had a few weeks to read about your topic, you should have an idea of what categories you will be breaking it into. On the lines below, please write each category. You may have more than four categories if you wish, but four is a good, manageable number. If you begin studying and decide to change categories, that is fine too.
Name: ____________________________ Topic: _________________________
I am dividing my LRS topic into the following four categories:
1. ______________________________________________________________
2. ______________________________________________________________
3. ______________________________________________________________
4. ______________________________________________________________
