2008-2009 ASB CHESS CLUB
We are a group of dedicated parents who wish to enhance the students'
learning experience with the timeless game of chess.
We invite all interested students to join us on Monday afternoons for chess
games, chess instruction and fun.

Dates: Chess Club begins October 6 2008 and lasts through
March 2009.
When: Every Monday at 2:00 - 3:15 p.m.
Where: We meet in the primary wing (1st and 2nd grade classrooms).
Parents, please promptly pick up
your children at the end of each session. Children will be automatically
escorted by an adult helper to Extended Care if not picked up.
Also, please let us know ahead of time if your child will need to go to Extended
Care as a matter of routine.
Fees: We have instructors to teach and challenge students of
all ability levels. Try the club for free
for the month of October with no obligation.
The Chess Club Fee is $80.00 per student (non-refundable) for the entire
chess season.
Chess T-shirts: are available for $15.00 and can
be worn to school as part of the uniform on Chess Club days.
