We Are Learning About…

Reading: We will be reading Native American novels starting with Sing Down the Moon.

Writing: Continue to work on cursive. Practice writing with simile, metaphors, and alliteration. Work on using more description in writing.

Social Studies: Native Americans projects covering different regions of North America

Science: continue recycling and ecology studies – Begin fish studies

Math: Multiplication review and 2 and 3 digit multiplication

Religion: Creation, Creed and Saints

Oct. 9^th: Trip to Locks. 9:30-noon.

Oct. 16^th: Paper Making and weaving in the classroom. We need you anytime in the afternoon.

Oct. 17^th: Trip to Issaquah fish hatchery. 9:30-12:30.

We also need prizes for are auctions. Key chains, special pens, small stuffed animals, fun stuff you may have and no longer need. Just send into the classroom.
